The Edition X gets a major upgrade

The HIFIMAN Edition XS expands on its predecessor’s achievements with several major upgrades. Featuring Stealth Magnet Technology and the company’s NEO Supernano Diaphragm, the Edition XS produces a wide and natural soundstage. The NEO Supernano Diaphragm is 75% thinner than the original version, resulting in lightning-fast response for detailed sonic output without distortion.

When it comes to detail retrieval, no factor is more important than the diaphragm. Required to oscillate up to 20,000 times a second, most diaphragms, which are made of plastic or cardboard, can’t overcome the hurdle of their own inertia to reproduce lifelike detail. The Edition XS, on the other hand, features a diaphragm that’s less than two micrometres thick. This exceptional thinness allows it to reproduce unparalleled details and lifelike imaging that you won’t find on other headphones.

Acoustically invisible stealth magnets

While many open-back headphones prevent sound waves from escaping with poorly designed drivers, the Edition XS utilizes a specially-shaped magnet that allows waves to pass through without generating interference. The result is a massive reduction in wave diffraction turbulence and less distortion.
Memory foam headband

The lightweight, ergonomic headband offers maximum comfort for hours of listening pleasure. The exterior is a refined black matte material, while the interior uses high-grade memory foam for a comfortable fit.
