Their inspired answer allows for connection of an HDMI or VGA source, a synchronous USB device, Bi- Directional IR, and an auxiliary audio feed – all over a single Category cable. Only one power supply is needed for both Modules, and you may choose either side to connect it to. Transformative Engineering even provides power for an IR Pickup device (not included). Their highest quality video transmission system, HDBase- T, enables video resolutions up to 1080p and computer resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 – all uncompressed. The VGA Input is converted to HDMI with computer selected resolution.

Selection of input is automatically sensed and prioritizes HDMI unless the manual selection is activated. Auto selection is resumed upon next power- up or selected by the user. The Transmitter Unit fits in a double- gang electrical box and is fully enclosed in our shielded metal case for safety and code adherence. We provide both Black and White faceplates to match most décor. TE’s Compact Receiver Module fits behind your monitor or on top of your projector to provide a signal, control, and USB over a single Category wire up to a distance of 30 Meters (100 feet).
